The Albanian market is changing quickly

On 17 June 2026, DPSHTRR reported 4,939 first registrations of all-electric vehicles in January–May 2026, 197% more than the same period of 2025. It also reported that EVs represented 45.7% of zero-kilometre vehicles registered in that period.

These are registrations for a defined period and category—not the total active EV fleet and not platform data. DPSHTRR publishes monthly and active-fleet data, so figures should be refreshed before publication and compared using the same method.
