Trust has several layers

Specification sources, business verification, listing moderation, stock freshness and editorial accuracy are different controls. None should be used to promise what another layer is responsible for.

What each layer controls

Model data — Organises variant specifications — May vary by market and year and does not prove stock
Dealer verification — Reviews business identity and application — Does not technically inspect every vehicle
Listing moderation — Checks suitability and accuracy under the process — Does not replace physical inspection or contract review
Stock status — Shows the offer’s recorded state — May change before an update
Editorial review — Checks sources and wording — Must be repeated when information changes

Where model data comes from

Start with official manufacturer documents and pages for the exact variant and market, then use regulations or other primary sources for definitions. Record the access date and never combine specifications from different variants.

When correcting a value, retain the reason and source. In articles, distinguish the original publication date from the date claims were genuinely reviewed.

Stock and price change

A listing can be accurate when published and change later. The dealer must maintain it and the buyer must reconfirm it. The platform should state this limitation clearly rather than hiding it behind business verification.

For a discrepancy, keep the URL, date, affected field and a source or photo contradicting it. Send only data necessary for the correction.

How to request a correction

Identify the page: Copy the URL and model, listing, dealer or article name.
Describe the error: Name the exact field and why it appears inaccurate.
Add a source: Use a primary document or page where possible.
Protect privacy: Do not send unnecessary documents or personal data.
Use the official contact: Send through the official channel and retain the request reference.

Account and privacy rights
