Analytics show signals, not guaranteed sales

A view indicates exposure, a contact click indicates interest in a channel and an enquiry contains an identifiable message. None proves a sale, revenue or causation on its own.

Read the funnel without mixing metrics

  • Profile/listing view — Was the content opened? — That it was fully read or led to a purchase
  • Contact click — Did the visitor try a contact channel? — That contact was completed or qualified
  • Enquiry — Did a message arrive for handling? — That it will become a sale
  • Lead status — Where is it in the team workflow? — A financial outcome without other data

A disciplined workflow

  • Read context: Identify listing or profile, question and channel without collecting unnecessary data.
  • Qualify: Check whether the vehicle is active and what needs answering.
  • Respond: Confirm stock, variant, current price and a clear next step.
  • Update status: Use the current status so the team does not duplicate work.
  • Plan follow-up: Record the meeting or action in the approved business system.
  • Close with a reason: When work ends, use the relevant status without inventing an outcome.

A good response is prompt, but above all accurate

Assign an inbox owner and check it at regular intervals. Confirm availability, answer the question and offer a reasonable next step such as a call or appointment.

Do not promise a public response time the business cannot keep. Do not send personal data to unauthorised team members or export enquiries to insecure devices and channels.

Monthly analytics questions

  • Which profiles or listings receive more views?
  • Are their information and media more complete?
  • Which contact channels are used?
  • How many enquiries have no current status?
  • Are unavailable vehicles still being advertised?
  • Should repeated questions be answered in the listing?
  • Are periods and definitions comparable?
  • Is personal data protected in exports?

CSV export and privacy

Export only for a work purpose and with authorised access. Check fields before sharing, store the file in a controlled location, limit recipients and delete it according to business policy and applicable obligations.

Aggregates are more suitable for general reporting. Use enquiry details only for handling those enquiries and do not turn them into marketing lists without an appropriate basis.

Turn signals into a workflow

Open the dashboard, check enquiries and update statuses before analysing performance.

Review

Metrics, inbox, statuses and export were checked against the platform on 3 September 2026. Reconfirm definitions on publication day and use synthetic or anonymised screenshot data.

Blog FAQ

What counts as a lead?

Here it means an enquiry or contact signal requiring handling. Use the dashboard’s current definition for reporting.

Does the platform measure sales?

Do not equate a view, click or enquiry with a sale. Use only metrics and integrations the platform clearly defines.

Why use statuses?

They show what is new, in progress or completed and reduce duplicate responses.

Can I share a CSV export?

Only with authorised people for a valid purpose. Check personal data, sharing channel and retention period.
